ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
ROTORUA, Wednesday, the annual meeting of the Rotorua County Council was held yesterday. Mr. H. i\ Ford presiding. The annual report showed that 11. J miles of road were metalled, seven miles reformed and 140 miles graded Pipe culverts to a length of 2,540 feet were laid in the county. The sum of £3,300 was expended on maintenance and £5.276 on construction work. Mr. Steele eulogised the work of Mr. Ford and his motion to re-elect Mr. Ford as chairman was carried unanimously.
