CHURCH HALL DAMAGED Bronx Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Wednesday. Serious damage to the church hall in Rifle Range Road, Frankton, was caused by a fire which broke out early this morning. _As the hall was situated just outside the boundary of the town the town water service was not available to the fire brigade, and suitplies had to be drawn from a stream 600 feet away. Wheii the outbreak was suitpressed only a portion of the western end of the building was left standing. A meeting was held in the hall for an hour last evening, but everything was in order at the finish and the origin of the outbreak cannot be ascertained. The building was insured in Lloyd’s Office for £SOO, and the contents, including a piano, forms and church furniture, were insured in the same office for £IOO.
