CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE CONGRESS MEETS
FILM INDUSTRY PROMOTION Reed. Noon. LONDON, Monday. The Empire Chambers of Commerce Congress, by a large majority, passed a resolution: “That the time has arrived for the reintroduetion of penny postage throughout the Empire.” Mr. William Machin (New Zealand) moved that the Federation’s .council should do its utmost to foster the film industry in promoting Imperial interests. This was carried unanimously.
