BRISBANE INCIDENT Reed. 11.10 a.m. BRISBANE, Today. The residents of Mount Isa were awakened in the early morning by a. terrific explosion at Biddle and Wilson’s aerated, water factory. A fire which followed completely destroyed the premises. The factory had been declared black as the result of a beer strike. WOOLLEN MILL DESTROYED Reed. 11.10 a.m. MELBOURNE, Today Damage estimated at £15,000 was caused by fire at the returned soldiers’ woollen mills at Geelong. The scouring and dyeing departments were destroyed. A recreation hall in the same.town was gutted with the loss amounting to £3,000.
