INTOXICATION CHARGE

VAN DRIVER REMANDED ON BAIL Charged with being found intoxicated in charge of a mo tor-van in the Great North Road yesterday, Duncan Donald, a salesman, aged 50, was remanded at the Police Court this morning until Thursday. Mr. Sullivan appeared for Donald, who was arrested by Constable Snow. Counsel asked for bail. Donald, he •said, was a married man. The van was the property of his wife and was worth at least £SO. Mrs. Donald would be the suretor for her husband. Bail was allowed in one surety of £25 and Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.Afc. warned accused that lie must do no driving in the meantime.
