DOUBLE WEDDING
BRIDES IN IVORY SAWN GEORGETTE BELL-REEVE NEEDHAM—REEVE A double wedding was celebrated at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Pukekohe, on Wednesday. The brides were Ada Florence and Clara, second and third daughters of Mr. and Mrs. F. Reeve, Pukekohe Hill, and their respective grooms Robert George, e dest son of Mr. and Mrs. R- Bell, Pukekawa. and Leslie Shaw, third son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Needham, Patumahoe. The Rev. J. P. Cowie officiated. The brides were eiven away L ’ y their father. Kach wore a tight-fit-tinc bodice of white satin beaute with ion" georgette sleeves and an ankleenlth vandyked skirt of white georgette over white satin, and finished with a large tulle bow fastened with a cluster of orange blossoms,at the ilia Thev wore hand-embroidered tulle veils caught to the head with a. double circlet of orange blossom and carried shower bouquets. Four bridesmaids were in attendance on the brides. The chief bridesmaids Miss Mildred Reeve, a sister, uul Miss Marjorie Farris, a cousin, were dressed alike in lime green frocks with satin beaute bodices and scalloped uneven hemlines. Bach frock was finished with a satin bow at the centre of the back, falling to the aemline They wore head-dresses of silver tulle and carried bouquets to tone. The second bridesmaids. Miss G.adys Armstrong, a cousin of the brides, and Miss Thelma Butcher. wei*e dressed alike in a deeper shade of green, the frock being made similar to those of the chief bridesmaids. Little Miss Marjorie Fargher. a niece of the brides, and Miss Isla Needham were in attendance as flower girls, daintily frocked alike in lemon crepe de chine, with long frilled silk net skirts. They wore juliet caps of lemon silk net. rosebud trimmed, and carried silver baskets of flowers. The bridegrooms were attended by their brothers, Messrs. A. Bell and I>. Needham, as best men, and Messrs. G. Read and D. Bell as groomsmen. The brides’ mother received her guests wearing a frock of navy crepe de chine with a fox fur and a hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of autumn-tin tod flowers. __________
