DEMONSTRATION OF GLOVE-MAKING AT SWANSON INSTITUTE

The Swanson Women’s Institute l*eld its usual monthly meeting on Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Vesey presided over a full attendance of members. After the business was concluded, Airs. Allen, of Remuera, gave :i demonstration of glove-making, and Mrs. G. Tavlor contributed a pianoforte solo. The hostesses for the afternoon were Aliss L. Vesey and Aliss T. Buchannan.
