CHINESE ARRESTED
PROHIBITED IMMIGRANT WEALTH IN CAULIFLOWERS Press A ssociation INVERCARGILL, Today. A Chinese, Lee Wong, who wa6 arrested on a warrant from Auckland, was charged today with being a prohibited immigrant and was fined £lO and ordered to be deported within 30 days. Counsel for defendant said he was in partnership with another Chinesin a market garden and had an interest in cauliflowers worth between £3,000 and £4,000.
