£12,000 THEATRE FOR OTOROHANGA. —Tenders will b e called shortly for the construction of a new Majestic picture theatre at Otorohanga. The theatre, which has been designed by Mr. A. Sinclair O Connor, of Auckland, will include seven shops. It is estimated to cost £12,000 and will have a seating accommodation of 700. The building will be Situated on one of the best sites in the township. There will be a level floor for dancing and a deep stage. Special attention has been given to the exits. A vestibule 12 feet wide is to open into a foyer 17 feet wide. On either side wide staircases will lead to the circle.
