KEEP HIM IN MIND

r rHE Ellesmere Handicap, a 4.40 two-mile event on the Canterbury Park first day programme, has drawn a large field of wellperformed and vastly improved pacers. There is one customer on the front of the handicap that will be well worth keeping in mind. This is Harold Logan, who on the Wanganui - Hawera-Taranaki circuit won fuor heats in as many starts. Twice was the Logan Pointer gelding successful over two miles and while he did not put up anything in the nature cf startling time for his successes, the way he did his job greatly impressed “Abaydos.” On a good track Harold Logan should go a lot quicker than his handicap, and if he faces the starter at Addington his price will not be very long.
