RELIABILITY TRIAL

TO HUNTLY AND BACK TEN COMPETITORS OFF Ten motor-cyclists left. Devonport this afternoon in the North Shore Motor-Cycle Club’s reliability trial. The route lay via Albany and Riverhead, round the harbour to Auckland, and then down the Great South Road as far as Huntly. The party will stav there overnight and in the morning will continue its journey along the route home. This afternoon’s stretch will be approximately 110 miles and the whole journey is expected to be nearly 250 miles. Riders will check in back in town tomorrow evening. Points will be awarded for reliability of running, the average speed maintained, which should reach 24 miles an hour.
