CYCLING MISHAPS

Mr. Harry Whittle, of 54 East Street, Xewton, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital at about three o’clock yesterday afternoon suffering from injuries to his spine, which he received as the result of an accident with the motor-cycle he was riding. His condition is not regarded as serious. Through falling heavily from his bicycle just before 1 p.m. yesterday Mr. Frederick Hatfield, of Grotto Street, Te Papapa. suffered concussion of the brain and 'minor head injuries. After the mishap the injured man picked himself up and walked into a shop, but on sitting down he immediately collapsed and was removed to the hospital. His condition is stated to be satisfactory.
