PLAYERS ASKED TO KEEP IN TRAINING FINANCIAL PROBLEMS Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. Ac a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council yesterday, Mr. A. T. Donnelly said that in regard to the tour of England next year by a New Zealand side that all associations had been circularised, asking that players who might be selected should keep in training throughout the winter. Finance had been considered, and although times were bad the Management Committee was satisfied that it would be possible to make satisfactory arrangements. It was possible, given decent weather, that the tour would show a profit.
