GAVE FORGED RECEIPT
MAN SENT TO GAOL Press Association BLENHEIM, Today. In the Police Court at Picton today Erie Boyd Swanwick, aged 29, was sentenced to three months’ hard labour lor the theft of £2 11s. Accused received the amount from Joseph Feet.ha.m, a Public Works ganger at Wharanul, to pay to Roy Clarence Herd at Picton, but failed to do so and produced a forged receipt.
