SHOP ENTERED

GOODS VALUED AT £2O STOLEN Breaking into the shop of Mr. J. Noonan, hairdresser and tobacconist, of Te Papapa, last evening, a burglar stole goods to the value of £ls or £2O. When Mr. Noonan opened his shop this morning he noticed a sugar bag packed with cigarettes, tobacco, torches, batteries, and other goods lying on the floor, pointing to the fact that the burglar had been disturbed at his work, or was satisfied with what he had got. A search of the premises revealed that goods to the value of £ls or £2O had been taken. Entry was gained by forcing the front door with a jemmy. The police were notified, and are making investigations.
