Premiers' and Prime Ministers The Hon. G. W. Forbes who has been chosen by the United Party to succeed the Rt. Hon. Sir Joseph Ward as Prime Minister and Leader of the House of Representatives is the twenty-first in the line of administrative succession since the establishment of responsible Government in Hew Zealand in the year 18ob. Following is the list of Colonial Secretaries , Premiers and Prime Ministers of whom several, it will be seen, held the position in diffei cni Ministries :—
