HALL OF INDUSTRIES TO OPEN IN CITY With the object of bringing before the people the value of New Zealand manufactures and to impress the need for stimulating industry in this country the Auckland Manufacturers’ Association -will open the Hall of Industries in the Queen’s Arcade on Wednesday. Local manufacturers have already booked the greater number of showcases available and every effort is being made to have a worthy exhibition of locally-made manufactures on view by the opening date. Each show case is let to a different firm for a period of six months, when another manufacturer takes it over. In order to popularise the exhibition, which will be open all the year, a series of special displays and demonstra-
