SYDNEY, Monday. At the Sydney wool sales today the Offerings totalled 8,804 bales, of which 8,446 \v r ere sold. Also 223 bales were •old privately. There was good general competition ond the market was firm at late rates ifor all descriptions. An outstanding feature was the demand for average to good wools, prices tor which showed a t tendency. ‘ . Greasy Merino fleece sold to 234t1.
