Hr. and Mrs. J. *McEnnis, of Whangarei, are among the guests at the Star Hotel. Mrs. G. H. McCasserty, of Brisbane, is a visitor to Auckland, and is staying at the Grand Hotel. * * * Mrs. W. J. Gray, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland, and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. J. L. Scoullar, Herne Bay. * Mrs. A. A. McDonald is on a visit to Auckland, and is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Leonard Hunt, Penryn Road, Mount Eden. « * * Mrs. W. J. Macklow and Miss X. Macklow, of “Hulme Court,” Parnell, returned from a visit to America by the Niagara yesterday. Mrs. W. E. Lewisham, of Sea view Road, Remuera, who has been on a visit to England and America, returned by the Niagara yesterday. Mrs. G. S'. Radley, of Owen's Road, Epsom, is leaving today by the Niagara for a visit to England, accompanied by her husband^and daughter. # * * Mrs. Chewings, of Southland, and Miss Mary Mitchell, of Gillies Avenue, are leaving today by the Niagara for a visit to Australia. They expect to be j away until the end of the year.
Mrs. W. Laidlaw, of California, arrived by the Niagara yesterday on a visit to the Dominion, and leaves today by motor for Rotorua. When in Auckland again Mrs. Laidlaw will stay with Mrs. R. Laidlaw, Jervois Road, Herne Bay. Mr. and Mrs. Moore and Mr. and Mrs. F. Wingrove, of London, Mrs. St. George Smith, of Ireland, Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Pochim, of England, Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Snider, Mr. and Mrs. C. Minter, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Macdonald (of Sydney), Mr. and Mrs. R. Brace, Mr. and Mrs. Ft Picot, of Wellington, and Senator and Mrs. Millen, of Tasmania, are staying at the Grand Hotel.
