VISITORS FROM INDIA

WELCOME FOR MISSIONARIES A rally will be held on Wednesday evening in St. David’s Church to welcome five Presbyterian missionaries who are at present in Auckland on furlough from the Punjab, India. The visitors are the Rev. T. E. Riddle and Mrs. Riddle, Miss- D. M. Matthew, Miss B. J. Hardie and Nurse E. H. Elliott. Miss Hardie, Nurse Elliott and Mr. Riddle, who conducted the morning service at St. Paul’s, Devonport, yesterday, will speak at the meeting. Miss R. C. Fitzpatrick, principal of the Beirut Training College (British Syrian Mission) is another visiting missionary. She addressed the congregation at the morning service of St. James’s Presbyterion Church yesterday.
