IN RARE FORM
\'ATiVE PRINCE, who showed a A return to his best form at the recent Forbury Park fixture, when he established a two-mile track record of 4.24 4-5, is still at Addington undergoing a preparation for the Canterbury Park winter function. Through his first and second in the principal heats at Dunedin, Mrs. Sweetapple, owner of Native Prince, headed the list of winning owners for the Southern carnival. The son of Native King also qualified for the highest order of the Dominion, —New Zealand Cup class —and his meritorious performances are a just recompense for the untiring efforts of trainer Shaw, who always considered the pacer equal to the highest-grade society.
