BOTH CHAMPIONS
HEAVY-WEIGHT WRESTLERS FOR SYDNEY MAY RETURN TO AUCKLAND Two professional wrestlers, ■•Par" McGill and Harold Cantonwine, both heavy-weight champions, were among ! the through passengers on the Niagara this morning. They are under con- I tract to Stadiums, Ltd., and intend, after the completion of their Australian invasion, to return to Auckland in the hope of obtaining matches. *‘l like the look of this city of yours and I reckon we will both be calling back," said Harold Cantonwine, who is the heavy-weight champion of America, and in fact, during his wrestling career there, has never suffered defeat. He also whispered rather modestly, while in conversation with a Sun man, that he was a graduate of the Yale University, but according to him, that was "by the way.” “Pat” McGill is the heavy-weight champion of Ireland, and is accompanied on the trip by his wife and little daughter. He also intends to return to New Zealand if there is any possibility at all of being matched. Both Cantonwine and McGill have kept in training and appear very fit and well. Their weights are 16st 71b and 16st 61b respectively.
