WOMAN FALLS FROM WHARF
RESCUED BY COMPANIONS ACCIDENT IN WELLINGTON Press Association "WELINGTON, Friday. While on her way to the ferry boat this evening, Mrs. Hugh Wilson, an elderly woman, of Kipling Street, Sydenham, Christchurch, walked too near the edge of the wharf and fell over into the water. David and Andrew Christie, of Palm Grove, Lyall Bay, who had been with her on the wdiarf, immediately went £o her assistance. Davd Christie jumped into the water and held her up for some time while Andrew Christie jumped into a dinghy and helped them both out. Mrs. Wilson suffered injuries to the right arm and shock, and was taken to the hospital.
