BOOT MANUFACTURERS Problems connected with scientific research, the credit system, the closer relationship between tanners and manufacturers and between retailers and wholesalers were discussed at a meeting of the Auckland Branch of the New Zealand Boot Manufacturers’ Association held on Thursday evening. The president of the New Zealand Association occupied the chair. Subjects pertaining to industry were discussed by Dr. E. Marsden, secretary of the Department of Scientific Jind Industrial Research, Mr. Camp,
secretary and treasurer of the associate \l? n \ Messrs. A. Trenwith and M. I Clark. It was decided to have similar meetteily aml business meetings
