THAMES BRIDE HAS BEADED FROCK OF IVORY SATIN BEAUTE

St. George’s Parish Church, Thames, was the scene of the wedding of Zoe Winifred, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Benney. of Thames, and William Giles, third son of the late Mr. and Mrs. O. Brown, of Thames. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. R. B. Davison.
The bride wore a charming frock of ivory satin beaute. the bodice being made with long sleeves. The uneven hemline showed her silver lace underskirt and the narrow bands of satin which hung from the shoulders were caught in place at the back with a buckle of pearls. The embroidered tulle -veil was held in place by a silver ribbon surmounted by a coronet of orange blossoms.. She carried a bouquet of ivory tinted chrysanthemums and maden hair fern. The bridesmaids were Miss Leila Kenney, sister of the bride, and Miss Agnes Wells, cousin of the bride, who wore peacock blue and apricot crepe de chine respectively, made alike with an Early Victorian effect, and petalled skirt over an underskirt of silver lace. They carried bouquets to harmonise with their frocks. Mr. Alan Morrissey carried out the duties of best man and Mr. Alfred Boyle was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Masonic Hall, where the bride's mother received her guests "earing a frock of navy silk courteiii relieved with fawn, and she wore a hat to match. _
