BRIDGE DRIVE
ASSISTING THAMES SCOUTS Recently reformed, the St. George’s No. 1 troop of Boy Scouts has had something of a struggle to obtain equipment, and on Tuesday evening a helping hand was given when nearly 300 players attended a bridge and 50C drive in St. George’s Parish Hall. The Rev. R. B. Davison presented the prizes, which were won by Mrs. A. Bruce. Mrs. Costello and Mrs. N. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Poulgraiil fought out the tie for the consolation prize for bridge, and Mr. 11. Smith won the 500 prize.
The £ls which resulted from a pleasant little evening will go a considerable way toward providing the much-needed equipment.
