DELAY IN DOCKING

CAMBRIDGE A TIGHT FIT Delay in the docking of the Federal Line steamer Cambridge at Devonport has been caused by her beam measurements at the bilge level. The width of the dock at this level is 65ft 7Jin, and some difficulty was expected, as the Cambridge is 65.7 feet at the block line. A diver who inspected the propeller found that, in addition to a blade being missing, the boss was also damaged. It will not be known until the vessel is docked how extensive the repairs will need to be.
