TWO ESCAPEES CAUGHT
YOUNG MAORI FUGITIVES CAPTURED IN SWAMP Press Association NAPIER, Today. The two Maori fugitives from th« Waikeria prison camp at Te Awamutu. William Broughton, aged 18. and George Thomas f.lacdonald Bryant, aged 19, were captured this morning in a swamp at Brookfield* after a continuous watch had been kept since yesterday morning. The escapees were involved in a motor smash on the Devil* Elbow og , Sunday.
