Dynes the title of champion shot of Thames for tlio season which ended on Saturday. Three trophies were set up for competition to round off the season and in two of these Dyn« won by , consistent shooting. D. Moore carrying j off the other, on handicap 13L with Dynes whose handicap is 4 only a couple of points behind. The first shoot was for the president's cup over 200 and 300 yards under handicap conditions. The scores were: D. Moore. 40 at 200 yards, 38 at 300 yards, handicap 13. total 91; W. Dynes. 45, 40, 4—89; G. 11001. S 3. 39. 15—89: j B. Gleeson. 40. 35. S—S3: P. Trebiloook. 41, 3S. 2—81; A. Xewland. 36. 33. T —76. THE CHAMPIONSHIP Then came the championship award and the five first cup shoots out of seven were counted. W. Dynes had a clear margin of 10 over the next best 1 scorer, P. Trebilcoek. The scores were: W. Dynes, S 3. S 4. 7S, 90, 85 420; P. Trebilcoek, 82, 82. ] SO, S 7, 79— 410; B. Gleeson, S 5, 67, 81. : , 73. 75—381; A. Xewland, 69. SO. 73. 68 j ; 69—359. Taken on the whole the standard of shooting is veil up to that of former seasons and three cheers for the various officials and prize-givers brought the day to a close.
