SUBURBAN FIRES
Two small fires broke out yesterday and were attended by suburban brigades. A bamboo fire which broke out in Shaddock Street, off Mount Eden Road, was attended by the Mount Eden brigade, which had no difficulty in suppressing the flames. The Mount Albert brigade received a call to a grass Are in Taumata Road. Sandringham, and by its prompt actions prevented tiie flames from spreading to two adjacent houses.
