R. 0. GROSS’S WORK RECOGNISED SCULPTOR IN ENGLAND Auckland’s best-known sculptor, Mr. R. O. Gross, has been elected a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. His work has always received veryhigh praise from English critics, and
when he \ went Home to execute his equestrian statue for the Wellington war memorial many of them visited his studio to admire his work. One. of his finest achievements to be seen in Auckland is the war memorial at tbe Auckland Grammar School.
