LEASE BY WILLIAMSON FILMS CHANGE-OVER AT NATIONAL The last silent picture theatre in Queen Street is to become a talkie house. Williamson Films (N.Z.), Ltd. have taken an extended lease of the National Theatre, and the installation of Western Electric talking equipment will take place almost immediately. The National clung to the silent films for many months, but it is now to go the way of the other houses.
