TALKS WITH AMERICA WILL BE £6 MINIMUM SERVICE IN HEAVY USE British Official Wireless RUGBY, Friday. Owing to. the success ot the transatlantic wireless telephone service, the Post Office authorities announce that from Sunday next, the charge for calls to the first zone of the United States and Canada will be reduced from £9 for three minutes to £6. The charge for each additional minute will be reduced from £3 to £2. The charge to other zones in the United States and Canada will be reduced proportionately.
