IRELAND IN SECOND ROUND OF DAVIS CUP Reed. 1 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. Ireland lias qualified to meet Australia in the second round of the Davis Cup, McGuire defeating Landau 13—11, o—6, 3—6, 6—4, 6—l. In the Davis Cup contest. Ireland v. Monaco, at Dublin, Rogers and Allman (Ireland) defeated Gallepe and Landau (Monaco), 6—l, 6—l, 6—4. Ireland is now leading by two matches to one. At Warsaw Poland defeated Rumania and qualified lo meet Britain.
