FRAUD CHARGE FAILS Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. In the Supreme Court today Thomas Bishop pleaded not guilty to a charge of having obtained a motor-car from G. W. Tench, of Tench and England, by false pretences. It was alleged that to pay for the car he gave a cheque for £BO. drawn on the Bank of New South Wales at Nelson, representing that it was a valid order for £ 80. The jury returned a verdict of not guitly.
