COTTON FROCKS WORN IN HOUSE OF COMMONS Reed. 11.1 C a.m. LONDON, Mon. WOMEN members of the House * ’ of Commons have followed the lead of Queen Mary, in appearing in the House today in cotton frocks of Lancashire material. The Duchess of Atholl arrived in cotton voile of slatey blue, with floral design. Mrs. Mary Hamilton, Miss Susan Lawrence and Miss Edith Picton Turbervill (Labour) all wore cotton. „ Miss Megan Lloyd George announced she is getting one. Dr. Marion Phillips said: “I am getting one, but it is too early yet to wear it.” Dr. Ethel Bentham said: I am getting a cotton dress for Whitsuntide.”
