WINTER EXHIBITION

Tlie 1930 Auckland "Winter Exhibition will be held at Central Wharf from July 9 to July 19. A plan of the exhibition was submitted yesterday afternoon to the Auckland Manufacturers’ Association.

The Auckland Metropolitan Agricultural and Pastoral Association notified acceptance of the conditions arranged by the presidents of the two associations for the 1930 and 1931 exhibitions. The manufacturers are to pay the Agricultural Association £IOO for the 1929 exhibition, and the profits for the next two exhibitions are to be shared. There will be joint presidents, with seniority alternating. The manufacturers’ president will be senior for 1930.

Mr. J. Findlay, secretary to the association, announced that the association’s hall of industry in the Queen’s Arcade would be opened on May 28, the date of the annual meeting.
