THAMES NOMINATES PLAYERS From Our Oicn Correspondent THAMES, Monday. The following players have been chosen to be nominated by the Thames Rugby Union as candidates for the Ail Black trials: A. R. Lomas (City), f. Strange (Physical Training) and Jf Clark (C. 0.8.). Lomas is an ex-All Black hooker and Strange is a tall, rangy, side row forward who went on tour with the Auckland team two seasons ago. P. Clark is a newcomer to Thames but is the well-known Thames Valley side row and breakaway forward. He has only played one game in Thame* so far this season, but in that he wai outstanding as, next to Lomas, the beet forward on the field. He is "cry fast and a solid worker in the tight.
