GRAND THEATRE

Eddie Dowling, gay Broadway singer, is the star of “The Rainbow Man,” a happy, tuneful tale of a travelling minstrel show. Frankie Darro, the well-known child actor, plays a difficult role as Little Pal, an adopted child, whose father, an acrobat, has been injured on the stage. The child is called upon to take part in several highly emotional scenes, and he displays marked dramatic ability unusual in a child of 12 years. Other members of the large cast are Sam Hardy, Lloyd Ingraham, George Hayes and the Rounders Quintet, a clever musical combination who are responsible for much of the incidental music. Excellent supports are also being shown.
