DISTURBED A SERVICE
TALKATIVE YOUNG MAN ORDERED TO PAY COSTS During the Methodist Mission service in the Strand Theatre on Sundayevening, March 30, a young man, PJmmanuel Desenna, persisted in talking loudly, and finally had to be removed by a constable. He pleaded not auiltv in the Police Court this morning to a charge of disturbing the congregation, and the magistrate ordered him to pay costs. The disturbing effect of Desenna s talking was described by Norman Bergman, an usher for the ‘ service. He said he made several requests to Desenna to desist, but all were 'Snored and as he would not go outside a constable had to be called to remove him. When Desenna was taken outside the theatre he admitted he had been talking, according to Constable Urquha Leo Desmond Martin who was sit“"ft " e man Desenna a question, and when the latter answered, the usher told him to keep quiet.
