OBSTETRICAL APPEAL
AUCKLAND WEST FUND FINALISED The Auckland West endowment appeal fund is almost finalised, standing at £334 2s 6d, the latest donations being: Dr. Buckley Turkington, £1; Mr. and Mrs. D. C. F. Bennett, £2 2s; Mr. J. B. Johnson, £2 2s; Dr. Ilolmden, £2 10s. NORTHCOTE FUND The final result oC the Obstetrical Appeal at Northcote resulted in the sum of £2 being raised, which includes a donation from the Northcote Borough Council of £3 3s. The collection was undertaken by members of the Women's Progressive League. Mrs. A. Taylor acting as secretary. The result is considered satisfactory, as many appeals have been made in the borough lately for local purposes.
