A HARMONY OF PALE PINK AND BLUE
PRETTY NORTHCOTE WEDDING KIDD—ROBERTSON The Presbyterian Church, Noythcote, was the scene of a quiet but pretty wedding yesterday afternoon, when Nancy, third daughter of Air. and Airs. J. Robertson, of Princess Street, Northcote, was married to Edward, third son of Air. and Airs. James Kidd, of Te Kopuru, Northern Wairoa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. F. A. Thompson and Air. Edward Bassett, cousin of the bridegroom, presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wofe a frock of pale pink satin beaute, embroidered in silver, and a large taffeta bow defining the waistline. Her embroidered tulle veil was caught with orange blossonv, and sho carried a sheaf of white and pink chrysanthemums. Aliss Jean Robertson, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of powder blue georgette relieved with apricot silk net. She wore a blue hat to match her frock and she carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted chrysanthemums. Air. Jack Bassett, of Herne Bay, carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
