A heavy fog blanketed the harbour from an early hour until well into the forenoon, causing much inconvenience to ferry traffic. Tha Manly ferry, Curlcurl, and the Sydney ferry boat Kiandra collided. Both were considerably damaged, but nobody was hurt.
