TRAM MISSES POINTS

TRAFFIC BLOCK AT NEWTON A Grey Lynn-bound tramcar, which missed the points at the corner of Karangahape Road and Queen Street at 2.30 o’clock yesterday afternoon, blocked traffic on three lines for fifteen minutes. The rear bogey failed to take the proper lines, and the back of the tram swung across. A following car had to pull the obstructing car back to the rails.
