COOK STRAIT AIR SERVICE
MAY BEGIN IN NOVEMBER Special to THE SDN CHRISTCHURCH. Today. The air service across Cook Strait planned by Dominion Airlines, Ltd., should be begun about Xovember, according to a statement made yesterday by Wing-Commander S. GrantDalton. He said that the service would be something of an experiment, but he could see no reason why it should not be successful. Probably the airplanes would eventually carry mails, but before that could be arranged the service would have to prove itself. Also, !o « vr;- mails i? would be necessary to have two machines flyijjjj regularly.
