LORD BLEDISLOE OFFERS A SLOGAN
"This is a day of slogans and the one I would give you is, 'Preserve from deterioration and contamination your beautiful countryside on the one hand and the youth of the country on the other,’ ” said Lord Bledisloe, speaking at the civic reception in Rotorua yesterday. "The former is the latter’s grandest heritage. Detach one from the other and both would suffer and national deterioration would commence.”
