FUR RABBIT EXHIBIT
ATTITUDE OF AUCKLAND CLUB MAY HELP WITH SHOW The Auckland Fur Cluib will probably take a prominent part in the Winter Show next July. In its desire to let nothing detract from its efforts to establish standard markets for rabbit wool and pelts, the club came into existence with show and stud-breeding activities definitely excluded from its work. That policy was assailed after the last Auckland show by the show enthusiasts of th« club, but the attack was resisted. The attempt will be renewed next Monday, when the Executive Committee will advise the General Meeting to take part officially in the Auckland W r inter Show. There is said to be every likelihood that the change of policy will be adopted. This is due to the re.cent formation of the New Zealand Fur Crub which has undertaken the marketing investigation hitherto devolving solely on the Auckland Club. The intention is to form a Special show committee of the club to co-oper-ate with the show secretary, Mr. W. F. O’Donnell. The change, if approved, is likely to make the popular rabbit exhibit better than ever.
