JOLLY EPSOM PARTY CAPTAIN AND MRS. HOOD ENTERTAIN FOR DAUGHTER A delightful party was given t>* Captain and Mrs. C. E. Hood at their residence, Kipling Avenue, Epsom, on Saturday evening in honour of the coming-of-age of their daughter Joyce. A most enjoyable time was spent in dancing, interspersed by singing and games. The reception rooms were decorated with various coloured streamers, balloons and Chinese lanterns. Mrs. C. E. Hood received her guest* in a gown of black sequin panne velvet. The guest of honour. Miss Joyce Hood, wore green and pink taffeta. Among those present were: Mesdames H. Craig. C. Tupling.
