AUCKLAND MAN APPOINTED At a meeting of the traffic committee of the Otahuhu Borough Council and the Papatoetoe and Manurewa Town Boards, held at Papatoetoe this morning, Mr. Allen Breed, of the Auckland Traffic Department, was appointed traffic inspector for the combined districts of Otahuhu, Papatoetoe and Manurewa, and will begin his duties at an early date. At a meeting held last week 150 applications were considered and the number was reduced to two. This morning’s appointment was made after a personal interview.
