WOMAN ELECTROCUTED

USING VACUUM CLEANER

At her home in Bathurst Road, Svdney, recently, Mrs. Howard Manton Lane, wife of a solicitor, was electrocuted while using a vacuum cleaner. A maid in the next room heard a noise, and on investigating, found her mistress had collapsed. A doctor arrived within a few minutes, but Mrs. Lane was dead. Mrs. Lane was formerly Miss Alice Allaydyue, of Neutral Bay. and was very popular. She was the mother of two young children, and was about 25 years of age.
